IWAN

IWAN Real Estate: one system for projects in Muscat and Dubai

IWAN is a real-estate developer headquartered in Muscat, with a Dubai company alongside its Omani entities. It runs procurement, sales, contracts and finance on FAPT.

The starting point

Like many developers in the region, IWAN’s inventory, sales follow-up and accounts lived in separate spreadsheets and tools. Checking whether a unit was still available meant a phone call, and buyer statements were assembled by hand.

What they set up

Three companies on one tenant — two in Oman (OMR, 3 decimals) and one in Dubai (AED) — each with its own VAT rate and numbering. Projects with towers and floors were generated in bulk, priced with versioned price lists, and the sales team works the pipeline board daily.

How it works day to day

A booking marks the unit sold in the same transaction and hands it to finance, which raises milestone invoices and records receipts against the customer’s statement. Contractor claims go through certification with retention held automatically.

Portal listings

IWAN publishes available units to fapt.io from the Listings screen. The price and availability on the portal are the ones in the ERP, and portal enquiries arrive in the pipeline with the source “FAPT Portal”.
